In fact, on Monday Trump demonstrated this fact on live television ahead of his call with Mexico president, Enrique Peña Nieto.

In the moments leading up to the call, Trump struggled to figure out how the heck the phone works, which wound up being a painfully awkward sight worthy of the Veep closing credit treatment.

Here's the original moment, in which a perplexed Trump is seen pushing buttons on the telephone in the Oval Office and saying "Enrique" and "hello?" into the void. Finally he asks for some assistance, or rather demands, "be helpful," to a White House aide.

Some compared the moment to a scene from The Office, while others couldn't stop imagining how perfectly the clip would work alongside the ending credits of the political comedy, Veep.

It wasn't long before Twitter users stepped up and took action, and oh boy did the Trump's mishap and Veep's closing credits really complement each other.
